My Education

How I take charge of my education

I believe education is important and the key to success. I can take charge of my education by actively participating in class. I can also take charge by taking part in programs such as STEAM.

Long and Short term goals

Three months:

What I hope to achieve in the next three months is to accomplish the STEAM program, and continue to work hard and finish the first semester of the school year strong.

One to two years:

What I hope to complete academically in the next to one to years is get into a good highschool of my choice.

Five to ten years:

Once I graduate from highschool I hope to attend colllege. I don't know where I will go, but hopefully I will be able to leave Washington. I also want to recieve a Ph.D in the field I choose to study!

Ever since I was little I've been interested in science, technology, math, and engineering. That is one of the reasons why I applied to STEAM. Anyways, when i grow up I hope to an Aerodynamic Engineer. I also enjoy helping people, so I've thought about being a psychologist.

Habits of the Mind

Critical Thinker:

I think I am a critical thinker because I like to ask questions and go beyond the surface. I use critical thinking when problem solving, and along with analysis, synthesis and inference, which leads to evaluation.

Collaboration:

I use collaboration every day when working in groups. When working with others we are able to recieve input on our ideas and learn new things.

Creative, Imaginativve, and Innovative:

I am creative, imaginative, and innovative because I enjoy creating new things and like to think differently.
